1. At what age can one register for Shiamak's Dance classes
The starting age for a student to register for Shiamak’s Dance classes is 4 years, there is no upper limit. Classes are divided into the following categories based on age groups

  • • Children – 4 to 6 years
  • • Junior – 7 to 11 years
  • • Adults – 12 years and above.

2. What is the duration of the class?
The duration of all Children and Junior classes is forty 45 minutes only. For adults the duration per class is 60 minutes. Exceptions will apply to workshops and intensive courses.

3. Can I join a class if I have a medical condition?
If you have a medical condition you are required to get a Doctor's certificate that allows you to participate in the class.

4. Are parents allowed to watch the class?
Depending on the nature of the workshop parents will be allowed to watch their kids in class on specific dates which will be told to them by the instructor.

5. Do participating students get certificates after a batch?
All students participating in the Summer and Winter workshops get a certificate of participation on the completion of their batch.

6. How can I register for a batch?
You can contact the Shiamak office of your respective city and get the registration information. Once you have acquired the same you go to a location of your convenience to register for a particular batch.

7. What is the type of clothing that I will need to wear for the class?
The classes require comfortable dance attire such as tights, yoga pants, sweat pants and t-shirts. It is also advisable to carry a body sized towel for the class.

8. Will Shiamak be present for the class, if not then who will be conducting the classes?
Shiamak Davar will be not be present for the classes. SDIPA classes are conducted by an experienced, dedicated and trained faculty who are handpicked by Shiamak himself.
