Shiamak's full-time One Year Dance Certification Program in Mumbai — for dancers ready to make their passion a profession.
While regular dance classes are for anyone who enjoys dance, OYP is designed specifically for those who wish to pursue dance professionally. It is a holistic program that lays the foundation of your journey toward becoming a performing artist — focusing on technique, training and knowledge that nurture genuine talent.
The program is for passionate dancers, typically ages 18 to 28, who are ready to train full-time and build a future in dance, performance or the wider entertainment ecosystem.

Salsa, Broadway Jazz / Theatre Jazz, Science of Dance, Folk Dance, and Shiamak's Inner Dance Movement (Yoga).
Cha Cha, Bachata, Performance & Expression, Audio Editing, and Video Production.
Theory of Dance, Evolution & History of Dance, biographies of renowned choreographers and artists, and dance films.
Musicality, Diet & Nutrition, prevention of dance injuries, Victory sensitization, hair and makeup, and First Aid certification.

Students perform at prestigious events with The Shiamak Davar Dance Company — rehearsals, backstage management and the discipline of gearing up for a live show. Selected students are paid for their performances.
OYP is a full-time program conducted in Mumbai. Classes will run on weekdays and occassionally on weekends as per the program schedule.
Dance enthusiasts aged 18 to 28 are selected through an audition process. The program is designed for those who wish to pursue dance professionally, not just as a hobby.
Students take the prestigious ISTD Modern / Jazz examination and gain globally recognised certification.
Deserving candidates may receive a full scholarship on the program fee through Reliance Foundation, based on dance ability and genuine financial need.
